Carly Rae Jepsen and More Support Candie's Foundation Initiative to Prevent Teen Pregnancy

The Candie's Foundation created a national dialogue on May 1st, the National Day to prevent teen pregnancy. The Foundation's initiatives garnered over 200 million impressions with its message of teen pregnancy prevention. The Candie's Foundation partnered with Thunderclap, a social media platform that programs a tweet and Facebook post to be sent out automatically at a set time. The message, 2,000 teenage girls will get pregnant today. I stand with @CandiesOrg #NoTeenPreg was sent out by social media powerhouses: Chris Brown, Carly Rae Jepsen, Lucy Hale, Bella Thorne, Jenny McCarthy, Audrina Patridge, and others. This was the 2nd largest Thunderclap of all time surpassing Comic Relief #RND and The White House #NowIsTheTime to act Thunderclaps. (more...)
