Horwitt (Make Mine Manhattan, Plain and Fancy) featuring three original songs by Horwitt, Tony Award winner Albert Hague (Plain and Fancy, The Fig Leaves Are Falling) and Grammy Award winner Allan Sherman (The Fig Leaves Are Falling). Midtown Direct Rep Sets 'Broadway's Night Off' Event for 10/1

Midtown Direct Rep will hold a concert event on October 1, 2012. Titled 'Broadway's Night Off.' The event will include a Broadway themed silent auction followed by a special concert performed by Midtown Direct Rep's company members, all of whom are veteran Broadway performers. Performers include Maplewood and South Orange Broadway pros, Ron Bohmer (Phantom of the Opera), Catherine Brunell (Mary Poppins), Michelle Federer (Wicked), Becky Gulsvig (Legally Blonde), and many more (performers subject to change). Daytime Emmy Award nominee, Matthew Ashford joins Sally Struthers and the cast of Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 the Musical as Franklin Hart Jr. in the Ogunquit Playhouse production. Fresh from his recent topple into an elevator shaft as Jack Devereaux on NBC's daytime drama, "Days of Our Lives," Mr. Ashford will perform the role of the egotistical, lying and hypocritical boss through September 15th. Two-time Emmy Award-winner Sally Struthers returns to the Ogunquit Playhouse for the premiere of Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 the Musical, tonight, August 22 through September 15. 9 to 5, the Musical is based on the hit movie about three office workers who plan to get even with their egotistical, lying and hypocritical boss. When their plan spins wildly out of control the situation becomes hilarious and the laughter is non-stop. The show features the blockbuster title song plus a jubilant score by multiple Grammy Award winner Dolly Parton that mixes Broadway and pop with Dolly's irresistible style. The Stage at Island Park: Home of the Fargo-Mooreland Community Theatre, presents CLUE THE MUSICAL through March 11. Performances are Wednesday-Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2pm.
