Herb Alpert's Vibrato Grill Jazz...Etc. will present ARIANA SAVALAS - 'SOPHISTICATED LADY,' a CD Release and Birthday Celebration, Starring singer Ariana Savalas, with Guest Artist Pianist, Corky Hale for a One Night Only engagement tonight, January 9, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. at Herb Alpert's Vibrato Grill, Jazz, Etc.; 2930 N. Beverly Glen Circle; Bel Air, Calif. Savalas will be accompanied by Joe Bagg, Piano; Steve Venz, Bass; Andy Sanesi, Drums and Steve Cottor, Guitar. Savalas will not only be celebrating her birthday that night, but the completion of her first jazz album entitled 'SOPHISTICATED LADY.' The concert will be followed by a CD signing. (more...)

FOX Sports' 15th Fall Classic Features Giants, Tigers in First World Series Meeting

FOX Sports' exclusive coverage of 108th Major League Baseball's World Series begins Wednesday, Oct. 24 (7:30 PM ET), with Game 1 between the American League Champion Detroit Tigers and the National League Champion San Francisco Giants live from AT&T Park in San Francisco. The Tigers have been waiting to find out who they will face in the World Series since sweeping the New York Yankees last Thursday in Detroit. Justin Verlander, the Tigers' well-rested ace takes the mound tomorrow night for Detroit while the Giants, just two days after winning NLCS Game 7 against the Cardinals, call on Barry Zito, to duplicate his commanding NLCS Game 5 performance. Henry Winkler Will Guest Star on 2nd Season of 'Royal Pains' this Summer

Stage, film, and television star Henry Winkler will join the cast of USA's 'Royal Pains' in its second summer season. Winkler will join the cast in a major role next season as Eddie R. Lawson, father of the show's two lead characters Hank and Evan Lawson, played by Mark Feuerstein and Evan Paulo Costanzo respectively. It was revealed at the end of the first season that Winkler's would be character stole all of the money from his sons' business, HankMed. The show will air on Thursdays on USA during the summer. A premiere date and time slot have yet to be announced. (more...)
