On Monday night the Harold Green Jewish Theatre held their annual fundraiser, bringing some of the city's top talents together under one roof to raise awareness and funds for the company. The event took a slightly different format this year, with the evening being split into two categories - music and laughter. The first half of the evening featured musical performances from a diverse range of local talent, and the second act featured improve comedy and The National Theatre of the World. (more...)

This past Monday Eugene Levy graced the stage of The St Lawrence Centre in Toronto for a very special one-off performance as part of The Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company's "Conversations on the Green" series. On July 6th Donny and Marie took Toronto by storm with their revamped Vegas show Donny and Marie Live! The pair tore up the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts with hits both old and new, as well as memorable Broadway tunes, pop songs and good old fashioned banter. At a press conference held June 7 at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts, the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) announced 171 nominations for 197 eligible productions that opened between June 1, 2010 and May 31, 2011 for the 32nd annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards which honour excellence in the performing arts in Toronto.
