New York Musical Theater Festival kicked off its sixth season with a Gala Celebration of its first five years, called BEST OF THE FEST, on Monday, April 20th at 7 PM at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). The music of Bobby Cronin will be showcased on Monday, March 30 at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. The event which starts at 6pm will be hosted by Erica Ruff and John Zindarsic.

VOTE! is a fresh, new look at politics through the eyes of three high school students who are after the ultimate prize - Student Body President! Written by Ryann Ferguson and Steven Jamail, this intelligent and timely show offers a sharp, entertaining look at elections and the moral dilemmas they produce. The bright and imaginative score features many sure-to-be-hit numbers.

SHARON CARR ASSOCIATES, LTD announced today the addition of Jessica-Snow Wilson to the cast of GLIMPSES OF THE MOON. Wilson will be replacing Autumn Hurlbert in the leading role of Susy. GLIMPSES OF THE MOON premiered exactly one year ago at the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel to rave reviews and quickly sold out its limited run. The show returned this fall with an expanded production and received more enthusiastic reviews. The run has now been extended through the end of March, with performances every Monday night. Starting in February, in partnership with the Algonquin Hotel, the production is adding alternating Thursday lunch matinees. Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director), in association with Marc Platt, presents Stockard Channing (Vera Simpson), Matthew Risch (Joey Evans) and Martha Plimpton (Gladys Bumps) in a new Broadway production of Pal Joey with Robert Clohessy (Mike), Jenny Fellner (Linda English), Daniel Marcus (Ludlow Lowell), Steven Skybell (Ernest), Timothy J. Alex, Brian Barry, Kurt Froman, Bahiyah Sayyed Gaines, Lisa Gajda, Anthony Holds, Nadine Isenegger, Mark Morettini, Kathryn Mowat Murphy, Abbey O'Brien, Hayley Podschun, Krista Saab and Eric Sciotto. This exciting cabaret style show will feature the talents of 'Tale of Two Cities' alum Anne Tolpegin, Rebecca Robbins, Alison Cimmet, Michael Halling, Randy Glass, and Kevin Greene as well as Autumn Hurlbert (Legally Blonde), Andy Kelso (Mamma Mia), Colin Donnell (Jersey Boys, Pride & Prejudice), Alice Lee, Emma Hunton, Gabe Violett, and Zach Reiner-Harris (Spring Awakening), and Jessica Grove (Sunday in the Park with George). Additional performers include Shauna Goodgold, Jacob Hoffman, and Kimberly Moye.
