In an unprecedented move toward exposing western culture to the east, Poets International has brought PETER PAN, one of Broadway's greatest and most classic wonders in family entertainment to the grand stage at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Boundless Theatre Company (María-Cristina Fusté, Executive Artistic Director) will open the New York Premiere of Fur by Migdalia Cruz, directed by Elena Araoz as part of the Next Door at NYTW Series. In The Valkyries (by Jessica Owens) the tenuous strands of connection between three women in an all-female doomsday cult start to unravela?"revealing how women deal with trauma, what lengths they are willing to go to, what traumas they're willing to inflict on others, and what portion of their own autonomy they are willing to give up, to feel they've regained some semblance of power.

The Valkyries written by Jessica Owens and directed by Blayze Teicher will be presented as part of The Tank's LadyFest, a festival featuring pieces written, directed, produced, acted, managed, and designed all by female or gender non-confirming artists. The festival is 'in celebration of womxnhood and the female voice, in all its glory.'

Opera Philadelphia's recent revival of Puccini's romantic blockbuster had audiences and critics captivated. Now, opera lovers who missed its return at the Academy of Music, or can't wait to see it again, will have one more chance to see this beloved masterpiece on Saturday, September 14, at 7:00 p.m., as part of Opera Philadelphia's 9th annual Opera on the Mall at Independence National Historical Park.
