Former rocker Stewart Copeland delves into the twisted psyche of Edgar Allan Poe's manic murderer in the US premiere of Tell-Tale Heart and Bang on a Can composer, Michael Gordon, observes the anguished spirit of a brilliant artist in the West Coast stage premiere of Van Gogh. Featuring music at the edge of rock, jazz and classical modernism, this double bill of delusion and illusion, paranoia and inspiration begins May 11 and continues on May 18 and 19, 2013 at theEXPO Art Center, 4321 Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach, CA. On September 7, 8 and 9, 2012, Long Beach Opera (LBO) will take audiences on a magical voyage beneath the sea with multimedia performances of English composer Gavin Bryars' The Paper Nautilus at the Aquarium of the Pacific, Long Beach, California. Written for six percussionists, two pianos and two singers, Bryars' exotic score will be performed in front of the Aquarium's three-story 142,000 gallon tank of vibrant sea life and coral, the perfect setting for merging the wonders of the ocean with human artistic creativity.

As Ghost The Musical enters its second year, over 250,000 new tickets go on sale today (28 March 2012) taking bookings at the Piccadilly Theatre to 20 April 2013. Having been seen by over 400,000 people, Ghost The Musical is now also playing on Broadway, with further productions planned for Holland in September 2012, Australia and Germany in 2013 and Korea in 2014.
