Act II Playhouse announces its latest production, “Eleanor” by Mark St. Germain.  The production is a regional theatre premiere making its debut at Act II Playhouse. 

The Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre is bringing back its beloved holiday favorite, A Christmas Carol, December 15. The show runs through December 23.

Plan on celebrating the joys of Christmas in Arrow Rock in December! The Lyceum stage will once again be aglow with good spirits and Christmas tradition as Charles Dickens' immortal classic, A Christmas Carol, comes musically to life. Only 13 performances, December 12 through December 23.

Casting is now complete for the Lyceum premiere of the charming and hilarious comedy Souvenir, playing from August 18 - August 26. Souvenir will be directed by BRUCE LONGWORTH (At the Lyceum: The Immigrant, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Miracle Worker, Arsenic and Old Lace and The Importance of Being Earnest). The production features APRIL WOODALL as Florence Foster Jenkins, and PAUL HELM as her hapless accompanist, Cosme McMoon.

Eagle Theatre enters the New Year with a plan to shine the spotlight on the unique voice of women of the past, present, and future.

Award-winning singer and actress April Woodall (Souvenir, Reading Under the Influence, Gray Matters) is realizing a dream this March in Philadelphia. Woodall will star in the world premiere of Hearing John Denver's Voice, a cabaret exploring her multifaceted relationship with the music of John Denver, at L'Etage (624 S. 6th Street). The unique show will run March 20 and March 21, 2017 at 7:30PM each evening.

The MITF Awards Return! John Chatterton's 17th Summer Fest yielded an amazing crop of productions. A local company is set to stage a World Premiere musical about a challenge faced by every human being – living in our bodies. This new musical, In My Body, features lyrics by Michael Biello and music by Dan Martin with a book by Lis Kalogris, Kate Cipriano, and Melissa Hays. Through song and spoken word, movement and photography, In My Body reveals true-life physical and emotional body stories and challenges us to embrace who we are and open our hearts to others. 

In My Body, a world-premiere musical nearly ten years in the making opening this November at Philadelphia's Prince Theater, is described by it's creators as groaning, bitching, laughing, exploring, and revealing truths through song, spoken word, movement, and art.  Audiences will experience thisintimate piece first-hand when it opens on November 9 for a strictly limited engagement of six performances through November 13.  The cast includes Katie Zaffrann, Donnie Hammond, April Woodall, Austin Ku, and Michael Indeglio.
