BAREFOOT BOY WITH CHEEK Recording with Jenn Colella, Max von Essen & Robert Lenzi Set for Free Digital Download

UnsungMusicalsCo. (UMC), in a collaboration with the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, will record three songs from the little-known 1947 musical comedy Barefoot Boy With Cheek featuring performances by Jenn Colella (Chaplin, Closer Than Ever), Max von Essen(Evita, Death Takes a Holiday) and Robert Lenzi (South Pacific, Hello Again). UMC's recordings will be released for free digital download on the New York Public Library's website as part of its Musical of the Month blog series, which recently featured UMC's reconstruction of the Barefoot Boy libretto. The musical has never received a cast album. (more...)

Combine more than 20 unforgettable Gershwin songs like "I Got Rhythm" and "Someone to Watch Over Me" with lots of fabulous dancing and a comical boy-meets-girl love story and you get Crazy for You, the rousing, Tony Award-winning musical that closes the 2012 Music Circus Season, at Wells Fargo Pavilion from August 28 - September 2. Playing Bobby Child will be award-winning Broadway song-and-dance man Noah Racey, who has performed on Broadway in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Follies, Curtains and Never Gonna Dance. Playing the feisty Polly Baker will be Anne Horak, whose Broadway and touring credits include Young Frankenstein and White Christmas. (more...)

With an intoxicating script by Marc Camoletti, Boeing-Boeing tells the tale of Bernard, an American playboy in swinging '60s Paris who juggles three flight-attendant fiancées-one American, one German, and one Italian. With the help of airline timetables and a phenomenally efficient housekeeper, he convinces each that she is his only love.
