Melbourne Theatre Company is thrilled to today announce that the critically acclaimed musical What Rhymes with Cars and Girls will tour nationally in 2017, opening in Geelong next September before touring to Bendigo, Sydney and Brisbane.

Broadway star Allie Trimm is in concert with composer Daniel Dunlow. Enjoy an evening of new music from Dunlow's piano and Trimm's voice. Allie Trimm is a Broadway veteran recognized for her performance in Jason Robert Brown's 13 The Musical. Dunlow is an actor, singer, writer known for his viral YouTube videos and his work around the country and on the New York stage and screen. Come enjoy an evening of two redheads making beautiful music with special surprise guests.

Composer Gordon Getty's opera Usher House will receive its United States premiere as part of San Francisco Opera's double bill titled The Fall of the House of Usher in four performances, tonight, December 8 to 13, 2015. The Getty opera, a co-production with Welsh National Opera, will be paired with Robert Orledge's reconstruction of Debussy's uncompleted score, La Chute de la Maison Usher.

Alan Danielson's Are We There Yet (2000) accompanied three works by Sokolow, Preludes (1984), Homage to Edgar Allan Poe (1993), and Frida (1997). Directed by longtime Sokolow dancer and Bessie recipient Jim May, the program underscored the focus of Sokolow's voice through the decades of her work.
