Sony Orders Two More AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Sequels

Jeff Blake, Sony Pictures's Chairman of Worldwide Marketing and Distribution announced today that the studio has ordered two more installments of The Amazing Spider-Man franchise - and each has received a tentative release date. AVENGERS 3 On The Way; Will Downey Jr. Do IRON MAN 4?

In a new interview with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, the studio's commitment to a third film in the AVENGERS franchise has been confirmed as well as comments on the ongoing speculation about a fourth IRON MAN film and to what extent Marvel tentpole star Robert Downey Jr. will be involved given that his current contract with the studio has now expired. The brand new 20th anniversary production of Jonathan Harvey's classic play, Beautiful Thing, which opened to rave reviews and huge critical and public acclaim, will finish at the Arts Theatre on 25 May before a short UK tour visiting Liverpool, Leeds and Brighton. Directed by Nikolai Foster, and designed by Colin Richmond, the production stars Suranne Jones as 'Sandra', Zaraah Abrahams as 'Leah', Oliver Farnworth as 'Tony and introducing Jake Davies as 'Jamie' and Danny-Boy Hatchard, making his professional debut as 'Ste'. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced Finn Wittrock as The Actor, Sarah Wayne Callies as The Actress, and Shuler Hensley as The Critic in the Kennedy Center production of The Guardsman in the Eisenhower Theater May 25 to June 23, 2013. Based on the 1910 comedy by Hungarian playwright Ferenc Molnar, The Guardsman features a new literal translation by Richard Nelson and is directed by Gregory Mosher.
