Following a sold-out New York premiere, Outer Gaea Company are set to make their VAULT Festival debut with The Ballerina, based on various stories of fractious relationships between intelligence services and diplomats, democracies and dictatorships and what we view as right and wrong. The play, shortlisted for Theatre 503's 2016 Playwriting Award, explores the aftermath of colonial rule in an unnamed African country and the resulting destruction of a European presence within the continent, exploring how contemporary Western audiences consider, or don't consider, the impact of their foreign policy around the world.

Singer, Kimberly Nichole is dropping the first single entitled “The Witch” from her new unreleased album “West Coast Seattle Girl” on Halloween, Thursday, October 31st, 2019. The new single is Kimberly's homage to her life as a night-life, wild child. The song is also a remake of her hometown garage band pioneers, The Sonics', major hit “The Witch” from the 1970s.

Award-winning playwright Patricia Loughrey and composer Thomas Hodges announce that five-time NYMF alum Erin Leigh Peck (Motherfreakinghood, Grease! on Broadway) will step into the lead role of Margaret Evans in their original LGBTQ musical Sonata 1962.The production, which will make its Off-Broadway debut this August as part of the 2018 New York Musical Festival's Next Link Project, was originally slated to star Becca Ayers who has had to step out of the show due to booking a Broadway contract.
