Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, is continuing its 2021–2022 season with the World Premiere of Mr. Dickens’ Hat, A Play with Music written by Michael Hollinger, directed by David Catlin, with music direction by Chuck Larkin.

Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, and Angel Ysaguirre, Executive Director, will continue its 2021/22 season with The Lady from the Sea by Henrik Ibsen, translated by Richard Nelson, and directed by Shana Cooper.

Due to popular demand, Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, and Executive Director Angel Ysaguirre, extends the first show of its 2021/2022 Season, The Tragedy of Othello, the Moor of Venice, by William Shakespeare. Specifically conceived for a smaller audience and co-directed by Artistic Director Charles Newell and Gabrielle Randle-Bent, Othello features Kelvin Roston Jr., in the titular role. 

Milwaukee Rep will present SoundStage MKE an audio play walking tour set against the backdrop of Milwaukee’s Downtown. Milwaukee native and Indigenous playwright Marisa Carr (Reconciliations), writer Deanie Vallone, sound designer and composer Andre Pluess and director May Adrales take listeners on an aural journey through the streets of the city.

Milwaukee Rep will present several options to enjoy unique theater experiences and live entertainment safely outdoors including three Summer Concerts and SoundStage MKE, an audio play walking tour.

Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, and Executive Director Angel Ysaguirre, announces the streaming release of An Iliad by Lisa Peterson and Denis O'Hare, based on Homer's The Iliad. The production, filmed in the Oriental Institute at The University of Chicago, will be available for digital access from March 3 through March 31, 2021.

This holiday season Berkeley Rep will stream Tony Award winner (and frequent Berkeley Rep collaborator) Mary Zimmerman's The Steadfast Tin Soldier, produced by Lookingglass Theatre Company. Beginning December 1 audiences and their families can experience the beloved classic as the production streams into their homes. Based on Hans Christian Andersen's story about a little tin soldier who never gives up, this production is a gorgeous spectacle of music and movement that is perfect for the whole family.  

Milwaukee Rep is pleased to present two full productions of Christmas Carol available to stream this holiday season.  First, from the video vault comes a never-before-seen recording of Mark Clements' 2016 classic adaptation of A Christmas Carol from the historic Pabst Theater.  This production is available to view for free December 1 – 24, 2020 as a gift to theater lovers worldwide.  Just register at www.MilwaukeeRep.com to receive a free link.

Steppenwolf’s production of The Minutes by Tracy Letts, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, will be loading its set out of the Cort Theatre this Monday, November 16th to make way for the previously planned renovation of the Cort and the construction at the adjacent property.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater will partner with The Atlantic Council for the virtual premiere screening of VETERANS DAY 2020.
