Broadway Sings for Pride's Second Annual Gay Pride Concert will feature rousing songs from Broadway and pop hits, as well as feature stories of LGBT pride as told by celebrities, activists and the TADA! Youth Theater. The event will be held at the Mainstage Theatre on 42nd Street in New York City tonight, June 25, 2012 at 7pm. Strong leading performances, some tasty production values and well executed effects help compensate for many of the deficiencies in Shrek The Musical. The show is another sad reminder of how Broadway is currently bereft of creativity and imagination. Shrek is derivative drek.

Nikki Bohne To Star In LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL In Jackson by BWW News Desk - Sep 21, 2010
Newcomer Nikki Bohne will star in a new tour of the Tony-nominated LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL launching today in Jackson, Mississippi. Bohne, a recent graduate of Brigham Young University, will play the role originated in the film by Reese Witherspoon, and onstage by Tony nomiee Laura Bell Bundy. Bohne's regional credits include Aida (Amneris) and West Side Story (Anybodys) both at the Hale Center Theatre, Footloose (Rusty) and Annie Get Your Gun (Annie), both at the Playmill Theatre. The first New York revival of Michael John LaChiusa's musical See What I Wanna See will be presented next month on February 27th and 28th. The original production premiered at the Public Theatre in the fall of 2005, and this limited engagement is being presented by 5th Floor Productions.

The first New York revival of Michael John LaChiusa's musical See What I Wanna See is being presented this weekend on February 27th and 28th. The original production premiered at the Public Theatre in the fall of 2005, and this limited engagement is being presented by 5th Floor Productions.
See What I Wanna See is based on a collection of short stories by Ryunosuke Akutagawa, with original music and lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa. Spanning from feudal Japan to present day New York City, the contemporary musical examines the nature of truth in a post 9/11 world through the eyes of several distinct and unique characters.
