According to The Hollywood Reporter, a new Disney+ series based on the 2018 smash hit 'Love, Simon' has found its leading actor.

The Disney+ original series “Love, Simon” begins production this month in Los Angeles with up-and-coming actor Michael Cimino (“Annabelle Comes Home,” “Training Day”) in the lead role of Victor. The half-hour series from 20th Century Fox Television returns to the world of the 2018 groundbreaking hit movie, “Love, Simon.”

Celebrating Hollywood's biggest night of year, ABC will showcase a special sneak preview of the highly anticipated, high-octane dramedy, “Whiskey Cavalier,” on Oscar Sunday, FEB. 24, in advance of the series premiere on WEDNESDAY, FEB. 27 (10:00 – 11:00 p.m. EST). The series follows the adventures of secret agents Will Chase (code name: “Whiskey Cavalier”), played by Scott Foley, and Frankie Trowbridge, played by Lauren Cohan, as they lead an inter-agency team of flawed, funny and heroic spies who periodically save the world.

Vineyard Theatre and Developing Artists will partner again to present Developing Artists' REBEL VERSES Youth Arts Festival, Thursday through Saturday August 9-18 at Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15th St.). Since the festival's inception in 2001, REBEL VERSES has provided young artists, ages 13-19, with the opportunity to collaborate and network with their peers and prominent artists, and to showcase their original work. This two-week event, now in its second season Off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre, will feature over one hundred artists and performers from ten young-artist companies hailing from all five boroughs of New York City and beyond.
