Austin Pendleton to Helm Mississipi Mud's THE BLONDE BOMBSHELL PROJECT

Mississippi Mud Productions will present The Blonde Bombshell Project, a new solo play written and starring Jen Danby and directed by Tony Nominee and Obie-Winning Director Austin Pendleton. Fresh from their collaboration as Catharine Holly and Dr. Sugar in Suddenly, Last Summer with Mississippi Mud, this new solo work is about about legendary Hollywood 'Blonde Bombshell' Marilyn Monroe in her final summer of 1962. ?? With the 150th anniversary of the Civil War upon us, two sisters bring their own family story of charm, humor and even stubbornness to life on the Kennedy stage in A Field of Glory. Playwright Sharon Talbot* will star in the production she wrote, while her sister, Tony Awardİ nominated Director/Choreographer Lynne Taylor-Corbett (Swing!) will direct the show for Hot Summer Nights. In response to sold-out shows and long waiting lists last weekend, Performance Network Theatre announces three additional performances of Tom Stoppard's ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD on Thursday, February 19th at 8pm, Friday, February 20th at 8pm and Sunday, February 22nd at 2pm.
'The buzz about 'Rosencrantz' has been fantastic,' said Marketing Director Amy Wright-Olsen. 'We've had a lot of school groups and out-of-towners. Some people are even seeing it a second time.' (more...)
