Megan Gogerty to Give a Special Performance Prior to MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, 10/18

The Coralville Center for the Performing Arts will present Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing on Friday, October 18th at 8 PM & midnight. The 8 PM show features a special performance by the inimitable Megan Gogerty. Tickets cost only $8, and are available via the CCPA Box Office: 319-248-9370. The Box Office is open Wed/Thurs/Fri 11:00-1:00 & 4:00-6:00, and Saturdays 12:00-4:00, and one hour before ticketed performances. Tickets are also available online 24 hours a day at www.coralvillearts.org.

Television returns to New York Comic Con with two hit shows both produced locally in the New York area: last season's #1 new series The Following and acclaimed third-season crime thriller Person of Interest. Confirmed to attend New York Comic Con 2013 for panel sessions and autograph signings with fans on Sunday, October 13, are The Following stars Kevin Bacon, James Purefoy, Valorie Curry, Shawn Ashmore and Connie Nielsen, along with executive producers Kevin Williamson and Marcos Siega, as well as Person of Interest stars Taraji P. Henson, Sarah Shahi, Amy Acker and Kevin Chapman, with executive producer Greg Plageman.

This year the beloved tradition launches the Company's 2013-2014 Season by reviving Much Ado About Nothing, initially presented during the 2011-2012 Season with original direction by Ethan McSweeny. Much Ado About Nothing will run at STC's Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) from today, August 20-September 1, 2013. Resident Assistant Director Jenny Lord will direct this delightful summer comedy for residents and visitors to D.C.
