Seven is the perfect number. Thursday night marked my seventh time seeing the hit musical Wicked. Heres the countdown: Twice in San Francisco in high school, once in New York as a high school graduation present, three times in Chicago to see a family friend in the cast, and, now, once in Sacramento where the mind blowing show as so many have called it plays through June 17 at the Community Center Theater. Peter Nero, Music Director of Peter Nero and the Philly POPS today announced its next concert series, Broadways Most Wicked Villains, at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia on May 9th and 11th at 8:00 p.m. and May 12th and 13th at 3:00 p.m. The final POPS concert series of the 2011/2012 Season will feature Alli Mauzey, Nicole Parker and Ryan Silverman. Monday, April 23, at 8pm the National Touring Company of WICKED will host THE WICKED ROCKY HORROR SHOW, a staged concert performance of Richard OBriens The Rocky Horror Show Book, music & lyrics by Richard OBrien.
