SHAHEED: THE DREAM AND DEATH OF BENAZIR BHUTTO Will Begin 3/8 Off-Broadway

Culture Project's Women Center Stage (Allan Buchman, Founder & Artistic Director) will present the Off-Broadway premiere of the acclaimed Shaheed: The Dream and Death of Benazir Bhutto written and performed by Anna Khaja and directed by Heather de Michele beginning Friday , March 8, 2013 at Culture Project at 45 Bleecker Street (at Lafayette Street). Opening Night is set for Monday, March 11th at 7:30PM.

Culture Project presents the 10th anniversary production of the hit, award-winning play, The Exonerated, written by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen, presented in special association with The Innocence Project. Performances began September 15, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. for a limited seven-week engagement through Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Culture Project (45 Bleecker Street at Lafayette Street). Culture Project (Allan Buchman, Founder & Artistic Director), celebrates its return to the theaters at 45 Bleecker Street with the award-winning 10th anniversary production of the hit play, The Exonerated, written by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen, presented in special association with The Innocence Project, Directed by Bob Balaban (Gosford Park), the rotating cast will feature Stockard Channing, Brian Dennehy, John Forte, and Brooke Shields. Exoneree Sunny Jacobs, whose story is shared within the play, joins the cast for one-week, September 25 - 30. Additional casting will be announced shortly.

Tennessee Williams' IN MASKS OUTRAGEOUS AND AUSTERE Gets New York Premiere Tonight

producers Victor Syrmis, Carl Rumbaugh and Susan Batson, along with Culture Project (Allan Buchman, Artistic Director) have announced the World Premiere of In Masks Outrageous and Austere, the final full length play from one of America's most significant dramatists, Tennessee Williams (1911-1983). Directed by David Schweizer, it will begin performances on Thursday, April 5, 2012 with an Opening Night set for Monday, April 16, 2012 at Culture Project at 45 Bleecker (at Lafayette Street). The production is scheduled to play through May 26, 2012.
