Last week, The Southern California Motion Picture Council presented their Annual Golden Halo Award Presentation. Among those being honored were Ja'net DuBois, Bridget MacDonald and John Pierre, but the evenings highlight was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to actress, comedienne and humanitarian, Geri Jewell. Among those in attendance to honor Ms. Jewell, were Alison Arngrim, Ed Asner, Kelsey Collins, June Faray, Ford Austin, Rose Marie, Margaret O'Brien and a special letter sent by Norman Lear. Among the long list of luminous actresses who will perform in the three benefit performances are Alison Arngrim, Ilene Graff, Geri Jewell, Gates McFadden, Susan Olsen, Angel Parker, Eve Sigall, Barbara Tarbuck, Ann Walker, Dee Wallace, Allee Willis, and Kim Yarbrough. All-Star Cast Set for THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES V-Day Performance at Atwater Village Theatre, 2/14-16

More than 50 film and television stars will perform Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues in an intimate theatrical setting for three performances only, February 14, 15, and 16 at 8pm, at the Atwater Village Theatre in Los Angeles. Produced and directed by Sheena Metal for Ensemble Studio Theatre Los Angeles, all proceeds will benefit V-Day, A Global Movement to End Violence Against Women and Girls, and Protect.org, a national pro-child, anti-crime association committed to building a powerful, nonpartisan force for the protection of children from abuse, exploitation and neglect. Designed by world-renowned artist, Andre Miripolsky, as a memento to patrons of the tour and of their visit to Hollywood. The tickets feature Charlie Chaplin, Alfred Hitchcock, Clint Eastwood and Sofia Coppola, the Silent, Golden, Modern and Contemporary eras of film.
