RUBY PLACE NEST ON THE GROUND Opens 5/8 at Signature Theatre

Columbia University School of the Arts presents Ruby Place Nest on the Ground at The Perishing Square Theater, 480 West 42nd Street, New York, is the new home to the festival. New York Theater Workshop 2050 directing fellow, Reginald L. Douglas is at the helm of this commencing production of the annual playwriting festival, New Plays Now 2013. 'Ruby Place Nest on the Ground is a poignant, heartfelt play full of beautiful poetics, rich gospel music, and overflowing with love.' shares director Reginald L Douglas. WAITING FOR SPRING Set for Kitchen Theatre, 6/2-17

Veteran Kitchen Theatre artistic collaborators Rachel Lampert & Larry Pressgrove's Waiting for Spring is an expansion of Act 2 of their well-received Comfort Food. The production boasts a cast of Broadway veterans. Previews are May 30th, 31st, and June 1st, and Opening Night is Saturday, June 2nd. It runs for three weeks, closing June 17th, 2012. (more...)
