DIRTY DANCING Returns to the West End, July 13 by BWW News Desk - May 10, 2013
Karl Sydow & Amber Jacobsen, the producers of the global phenomenon Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story on Stage, have announced that the record-breaking hit show will return to London's West End this summer, opening at the Piccadilly Theatre on Saturday 13 July 2013. This follows a hugely successful multi-record breaking nationwide tour across the UK and Ireland, which has been seen by over one million people since it launched in 2011. Tickets for Dirty Dancing at the Piccadilly Theatre go on sale at 9am on Monday 13 May from 0844 871 7630. (more...)

DIRTY DANCING to Follow VIVA FOREVER! at Piccadilly Theatre, Beg. July 12 by BWW News Desk - May 09, 2013
According to the Daily Mail, Piccadilly Theatre's owners are lining up a replacement to follow up VIVA FOREVER!'s closing on June 29. The UK tour of Dirty Dancing will begin performances at the Piccadilly on July 12 and runs through February 2014. Casting has yet to be confirmed. And if, for some reason Dirty Dancing cannot make the transfer, the Piccadilly's owners told the Mail they have another show in the wings. (more...)

According to the Daily Mail, Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical STEPHEN WARD is eyeing the Aldwych Theatre as its West End home, with hopes to begin rehearsals in October in time for November previews. Its said that Lloyd Webber is also considering two other theaters in case Top Hat, which is currently running at the Aldwych, doesn't close in time for STEPHEN WARD. (more...)
