TNT's Leverage has thrilled audiences with its delightfully intricate plots, its 'stand up for the little guy' attitude and its terrific performances from stars Timothy Hutton, Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf and Aldis Hodge. But after five wonderful years, it's time to say goodbye. Electric Entertainment's hit TV series Leverage will begin a syndication run starting today, September 15th, announced today by Dean Devlin, CEO of Electric Entertainment. Distributor Trifecta Entertainment & Media has cleared the show in more than 95 percent of the country including the CBS owned stations as their launch group, as well as several stations from the Sinclair and Hearst groups. TNT Renews 'Leverage' For Fifth Season

TNT has renewed its fast-paced, light-hearted caper drama Leverage for a fifth season, just as the fourth season is shaping up to score the show's biggest ratings yet. TNT has ordered 15 episodes of Leverage, with the fifth season slated to launch in summer 2012. The series - which centers on a gang of grifters, hackers and thieves out to settle scores against the rich and powerful - currently airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). After the show's Aug. 28 summer finale, Leverage will return to wrap up its fourth season with new episodes in November and December. (more...)

TNT Orders New Seasons of 'The Closer,' 'Rizzoli,' 'Isles'

TNT has ordered new seasons of three of the network's hit series. The Closer, which continues to rank as ad-supported cable's #1 series of all time, will return for its seventh season. Rizzoli & Isles, which currently ranks as cable's #1 new series for the year-to-date, will return for a second season. Leverage, which is performing exceptionally well in its new Sunday timeslot, will be back for a fourth season. TNT has ordered 15 episodes each of The Closer and Leverage, along with 13 episodes of Rizzoli & Isles, with all three slated to start their new seasons in 2011. (more...)
