CCM Professor of Drama Michael Burnham to Retire After 30 Years by BWW News Desk - Apr 09, 2013
The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) Professor Michael Burnham has been a faculty member since 1984 and when asked about his many years of work for CCM, he muses, simply, 'I liked all of them.' He will retire this month, following the conclusion of the school year and his work as director for CCM's upcoming production of Execution of Justice, which runs April 18-20 as part of this year's Studio Series. The Cleveland Orchestra, conducted by Tito Muñoz, will perform its 33rd annual concert in celebration of the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. The concert will feature the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Chorus (a 125-member volunteer chorus from the greater Cleveland community) and the Central State University Chorus, both prepared by William Henry Caldwell, and Sphinx Competition prizewinner Adé Williams as violin soloist. THE TENORS Release New Album, 'Lead With Your Heart,' Set to Sing National Anthem 1/11 by BWW News Desk - Jan 11, 2013
Verve Music Group recording artists The Tenors (formerly known as The Canadian Tenors), featuring Clifton Murray, Fraser Walters, Remigio Pereira and Victor Micallef, have announced their release week activity for the U.S. debut of their platinum selling album, LEAD WITH YOUR HEART. The multi-platinum selling singing sensations will kick things off January 11th at Madison Square Garden in New York City to perform the national anthem at a home game for the New York Knicks. And, The Tenors will sing the National Anthem this Sunday, January 13th in Atlanta, before the nationally televised NFC Divisional Playoff game between the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks.
