Guitarist/keyboardist/producer Jack Petruzzelli continues his long collaborative relationship with multi-platinum artist Joan Osborne, as he co-produces Osborne’s upcoming March 27th Blues covers CD ‘Bring it on Home.' The collection of vintage blues, R&B and soul songs was recorded live in the Waterfront Studios in Hudson, NY by engineer Henry Hirsch (Lenny Kravitz), who used an original 3M 24 track tape machine to recreate the warm analog sound of the era. On last night's episode of Fox's AMERICAN IDOL, finalist Elise Testone chose to sing the classic Al Green song "Let's Stay Together", a tune that President Obama recently sang at a fundraising event at Harlem's famed Apollo Theater.
