Cortland Repertory Theatre Wins 2/3 Summer Production SALT Awards

Cortland Repertory Theatre's 2011 production of the musical Chicago “razzle dazzled ‘em” at the Syracuse Area Live Theatre (SALT) Awards, winning in two out of the three Summer Production categories. The awards were presented on Sunday, May 20 at the Palace Theatre in Syracuse. Hosted by the Syracuse New Times, the SALT Awards recognize professional, summer and community theatres, each in their own categories. ( more...)

Elaine Paige to Launch Australian Concert Tour in October

Following her current run in Sondheim's 'Follies' in Los Angeles Elaine Paige will return to the UK and prepare for a tour 'down under' which kicks off in Hamilton, New Zealand on 14th October, Christchurch on 16th and then travels across to Australia for Perth on 20th, ending in Brisbane on 30th. Gretna Playhouse with a sparkling opening performance by the one and only Tommy Tune in “Steps in Time” featuring the Manhattan Rhythm Kings for a single performance Sunday, June 3 at 7:30 pm. WOB & WSRR Schedule Three Mystery Trains for 2012

Last year The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, through its outside theatrical producing division, WOB LIVE! Entertainment, and Walkersville Southern Railroad formed a partnership to produce interactive mystery trains for the railroad in addition to its other excursion and dinner trains. Since the partnership began, these mystery trains have been offered as an option for groups booking the train for their private functions. ( more...)

The Emergent Arts Theatre Company will present its first full season of plays this year, starting with Neil Simon‘s The Odd Couple May 24-27 at the Arthur Miller Theatre, 1226 Murfin, in the Walgreen Drama Center, Ann Arbor, MI.
