The Harris Theater for Music and Dance announced today the exciting performances that will celebrate its first decade. The Theater's inaugural performance was held on November 8, 2003. Today, nearly 10 years later, the Harris will reflect on its past, present, and future with the 2013-2014 Harris Theater Presents series. The season is comprised of important premieres and debuts, along with returning favorites. The Theater's more than 35 diverse resident companies will also shine in the spotlight with a dazzling array of performances throughout the entire season. (more...)

The Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by founding partner American Express, today announced its jurors - a diverse group of 42 industry leaders, including award-winning filmmakers, writers, producers, acclaimed actors, respected journalists and entrepreneurs. The jury will be divided among the seven competitive Festival categories. The winning films, filmmakers and actors in each category will be announced at the TFF Awards Night ceremony, streamed live on TribecaFilm.com on April 25. The 2013 Festival runs from April 17 -28. The play's the only thing when WorkShop Theater Company presents The WILL-A-THON 10th Anniversary Bard-Stravaganza! featuring Tony Award Winner, Mr. Richard Easton with three different shows performed on six nights, written by William Shakespeare, and conceived and directed by Charles E. Gerber. A Special Event in the Main Stage Theater at WorkShop Theater Company, 312 West 36 Street on the 4th floor, Monday thru Saturday, April 22 thru April 27, 2013, at 8:00 PM each night, the WILL-A-THON features the acting company of Will's Playshop, intoxicating love songs, poetry, scenes both dramatic and comedic, and culminates in "A Shakespearean Evening with Richard Easton" in the final performance, Saturday, April 27th.
