Laura Pietropinto Biography

LAURA PIETROPINTO recently directed the premiere Asian production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Next to Normal in Seoul, Korea. Assistant Directing credits include: Next to Normal (1st National Tour, Broadway, Arena Stage, Second Stage, NYMF), A Very Common Procedure (MCC), Satellites (Public), Landscape of the Body (Signature), Get What You Need (Atlantic), Kid Simple (SPF). Regional: Avenue Q (Wynn Las Vegas), Landscape of the Body (Williamstown). She has produced and directed numerous concerts and readings including Cutting-Edge Composers I-IV, Jennifer Damiano and Adam-Chanler Berat at Joe's Pub, Peter Lerman in Concert, Louis Hobson at Joe's Pub, Eli Bolin 'n' Friends, Buzzed, The Virginia by Peter Lerman, College the Musical at Columbia University, and Broadway Sings for Outreach. Laura is the Artist-in-Residence at Marymount School in NYC. BA Columbia University.
