SGL Entertainment is pleased to announce that they will be releasing LAST RITES OF THE DEAD to Blu-ray, DVD and VOD. Horror fans may remember this cult classic horror comedy film under the name ZA or Zombies Anonymous. This version is a brand new Directors Cut, and has a ton of cool footage that was cut out from the original DVD release. And, the Blu-ray and DVD is loaded with extras.

The mythology of heaven and hell is one of the richest stories out there. In the new studio cast recording of Angels, the story is given yet another angle. Writers Ken Lai and Marcus Cheong (both share credit for the book and lyrics, with Lai also writing the music) tell a classic tale of good and evil from the perspective of Sera, an angel of light who longs to make a greater difference and becomes embroiled in a battle against Lucifer. Though uneven at times, the album does provide wonderful showcases for its talented cast.

Just announced, the Broadway-aimed new musical ANGELS, produced by Marcus Cheong & Mark Kang, will release an original studio cast recording.

Angels, the new Broadway-bound musical about an Angel who discovers her place and purpose, presented two staged readings (3:30 & 7PM) on Tuesday, December 16th at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Written by the new Australian team of Ken Lai (book, music and lyrics) and Marcus Cheong (book and lyrics), the readings featured Robert Cuccioli, Jessica Grov? and Nicholas Rodriguez in the leading roles. Direction is by Rich Fowler.

Angels, a new musical based on Milton's epic poem, Paradise Lost, will premiere on Broadway during the 2008-9 season.
