The Henegar Center's 17th season will include something for everyone.  A mad, revengeful barber, a young orphan, some rockin' nuns, a trip to Vegas, and a romantic look at Madison County will grace the main stage of The Henegar Center.  Upstairs at the Henegar boasts all female leading ladies.  "It's the time of women and their empowerment," says Hank Rion, Artistic Director.  "Women are speaking out all over the country right now; we should hear their voice on stage, too."

The University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Department of Theatre and Dance is staging DOGFIGHT. With an intimate setting, exceptional acting, and a well-designed production, anyone (who is old enough, comfortable with stage violence, has lungs that readily accept fog, and appreciates a good curse word) will enjoy the show.

Dickinson, with special guest Nathan Lane, all took part in the 69th Annual Theatre World Awards Ceremony last night, June 3, 2013 at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street), home of the current Broadway revival of Pippin. The 2013 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were handed last night to recipients in 14 categories and 4 special honors were bestowed. The Lortel Awards were distributed in a ceremony at NYU Skirball Center hosted by acclaimed stage and screen actors Aasif Mandvi and Maura Tierney. BWW Reviews: Luke Grooms Returns to Germano's Trattoria Feb. 18 for One Night Only

It was back on December 8, 2010 that I had the pleasure to see Luke Grooms perform for the very first time at the intimate Germano's Trattoria. Housed on the second floor of the lovely Italian restaurant, Cyd Wolfe and her husband Germano have established a successful quaint home for cabaret performers. The food is terrific, the piano in tune, sound wonderful , and one can expect talented performers whenever you attend.

If It Only Even Runs A Minute, an evening of rare and inspiring songs, anecdotes, and photos from Broadway musicals that may not have been fully-appreciated the first time around, played the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Sunday, January 31.
