Henry, Zora Neale Hurston, and Mark Twain.

Classic American Tales (CAT) presents TALES AT THE DORMER HOUSE.  This new company has taken on what had been presented by East Lynne Theater Company (ELTC) for 33 years under the name 'Tales of the Victorians.'

The Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe has received a $25,000 Grants for Arts Projects award from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to help underwrite its 2024 production of “Ruby” as well as to defray the costs of community outreach activities related to the play.

Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) presents the 10th anniversary of Station Hope on Saturday, May 27, 2023, from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm on the grounds of Cleveland’s first authenticated Underground Railroad site St. John’s Episcopal Church at 2600 Church Avenue. Classical Theatre of Harlem is to be congratulated for presenting this wonderful play. Langston in Harlem is a piece that absolutely deserves a second look, and this company delivered a first-rate production.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the third season of The Refocus Project, its multi-year project to elevate and restore marginalized plays to the American canon. This year's series of readings will feature Asian American and Pacific Islander playwrights: Prince Gomolvilas, Velina Hasu Houston, Victoria Nalani Kneubuhl, and Anuvab Pal.
