5-STAR THEATRICALS will open its 2024 season with MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET next month. Performances run March 15 - March 24.

This February and March, City Winery will host its inaugural two month-long initiatives, respectively titled, “Still I Rise” in celebration of Black History Month and “Fierce Light” honoring women and gender justice at its clubs across the country including Boston.

City Winery Boston, celebrating its 5th anniversary, announced a series of new shows over the next several months that showcase the diverse entertainment offerings at one of the city's premiere venues.

“Future Pain” is off Vanessa’s latest album Love Is An Art produced by Dave Fridmann (MGMT, Flaming Lips). Love Is An Art explores the eternal seesaw that is human connection: the push, the pull, the balance, the bottoming out. It's that constantly evolving nature of love, expectations and compassion.

Originally leader Emma Grrl's solo creative project, this is the band's first full band record, building a fuller sound from its original acoustic incarnation. They released the single 'To Do Lists (Color Coded)', which harkens back to the project's folk-punk roots while broadening its scope to the Regina Spektor type balladry it's indebted to.

Musical archaeologist and record label Delmore Recording Society is honored to announce an all-new collection, Shuckin' Sugar, from legendary blues and folk singer Karen Dalton. Available April 23rd on vinyl as a Record Store Day exclusive, followed by a wide release in CD and digital formats on May 6th, Shuckin' Sugar is a riveting 12-track live set recorded in 1963-1964, featuring the earliest known duets of Dalton (with then-husband, guitarist, and songwriter Richard Tucker) and seven never-before-heard solo performances. The collection is accompanied by an 8-page (LP)/24-page (CD) booklet featuring a treasure trove of newly discovered unseen and rare photos, as well as newspaper clippings, artwork by Dalton, and a heartfelt 6,000-word essay by veteran UK journalist and author Kris Needs.

Blues and folk singer Karen Dalton was a prominent figure in 1960s New York. Idolized by Bob Dylan and Nick Cave, Karen discarded the traditional trappings of success and led an unconventional life until her early death. Since most images of Karen have been lost or destroyed, the film uses new interviews or interviews to share Dalton's life.

Queens-based rock group Hollis Brown performs at Mayo Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 10 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $29-$39. A livestream is available for $25.

City Winery New York has announced the initial lineup of shows at their new flagship location on West 15th Street in Hudson River Park. The highly-anticipated re-opening of Michael Dorf's iconic music venue will include headliners Sinead O'Connor, The Mountain Goats, and KEB' MO', with dozens of additional artists to be announced in the coming weeks.
