DPAC has announced that one of the most anticipated community events of the year, Next Stop BROADWAY, will return July 17 – 21, 2023.
Members of the original Broadway cast and company of 42ND STREET, the Tony Award-winning “song & dance extravaganza” gathered on August 25, 2022 to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of the glorious musical comedy that made Broadway history, produced by David Merrick, directed and choreographed by Gower Champion.
Dancers over 40 presents a one-night-only special event: COME AND MEET THOSE DANCING FEET: THE 42ND ANNIVERSARY AND REUNION OF 42ND STREET, Wednesday, August 24th, 6 – 9pm at the Triad Theater, 158 West 72nd Street.
On February 11th the fourteen finalists of the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition competed live on stage at the Fabulous Fox. Students vied for $50,000 in college scholarships, cash awards and special prizes.

On January 16, forty-two metro area high school acts competed in the semi-final round of the 12th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition. The acts were divided into four categories (vocal, instrumental, dance and specialty) and adjudicated by fifteen St. Louis performing arts professionals, each representing the respective categories.
On May 24th the fourteen finalists of the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition competed in a televised event broadcast on Nine PBS. Students vied for $50,000 in college scholarships, cash awards and special prizes.
The Fabulous Fox Theatre opened their stage door to welcome the 14 Finalist Acts (21 students) in the 11th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition produced by the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation (FoxPACF). Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, the competition Finals were filmed for a special broadcast airing on Nine PBS on Monday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m.
Six outstanding performing arts professionals adjudicated the performances and narrowed the field to 14 acts (20 students) who will move on to the finals, performing on the Fabulous Fox Stage for a special NinePBS broadcast to air later this spring.

The Third Annual St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards winners were announced Sunday, June 2 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre. The ceremony was hosted by KTVI Fox 2's Mandy Murphey and directed by Tony Parise. The winners were named in 14 categories (plus WOW! Performance Awards and Special Recognition Awards) including the Outstanding Lead Actress and the Outstanding Lead Actor who will go on to compete in the Jimmy Awards/National High School Musical Theatre Awards on Monday, June 24 at the Minskoff Theatre in New York City, presented by The Broadway League Foundation.
On Saturday, March 9th, 45 metro area high school acts competed in the Semi-final round of the 9th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition. St. Louis performing arts professionals judged the performances and narrowed the field to 15 acts (24 individuals) who will move on to the finals on Saturday, April 13th at 8pm at The Fabulous Fox Theatre (a list of acts can be found here). In addition to the thrill of performing on the Fox Stage, contestants are eligible to win college scholarships, prizes and performance opportunities. 'We couldn't be happier with the level of talent. The students seem to get better and better each year,' exclaimed Mary Strauss, Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation Board President Emeritus. The final competition is a professionally produced production that is FREE and open to the public. DPAC is proud to announce Next Stop BROADWAY, a new week-long musical theater program consisting of classes, workshops, and rehearsals focused on classic Broadway shows. A staff of esteemed Broadway professionals, headed by Broadway veteran Tony Parise, will teach participants songs and choreography from two hit shows from the 'Golden Age of Broadway' and cast members will create their own presentations based on shows in the upcoming DPAC season and other hit musicals.

The winners were named in 15 categories including an Outstanding Lead Actress and an Outstanding Lead Actor who will go on to compete in the Jimmy Awards/National High School Musical Theatre Awards on Monday, June 25 at the Minskoff Theatre in New York City, presented by The Broadway League Foundation.
On Saturday, April 28th, 15 metro area high school acts brought the crowd to their feet when they performed on stage at The Fabulous Fox Theatre in the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition Finals. Students competed for more than $40,000 in college scholarships, cash awards and special prizes.
