Sara Anne Simpkins

BIO

Sara is orginally from the Oregon Coast where she trained as a dancer under Connie Hogge and took master classes with the Eugene Ballet. She attended Oklahoma City University where she studied voice with Rebecca Salter, and ballet with Jo Rowan. Sara recieved her BA from Goucher College where she continued to study dance and theater. Sara now performs in the Baltimore area.

Dundalk Community Theatre opens its 2011/12 season with THE DROWSY CHAPERONE from Nov 4-13. This Broadway show that won the Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score features the talent of local favorites: Shannon Wollman, Patrick Martyn, Amy Pierson, Robert Tucker, Jeff Burch and Roger Schulman. Individual tickets are $23 for adults, $20 for senior adults and $15 for students/DCT Actors/Children 12 and under.

The Strand Continues its Second Saturday Series with Developmental Stages

The Strand Theater Company continues our first annual Second Saturday Reading Series. The Reading Series will give one new playwright each month, a chance to have their work produced for an audience. The series will be FREE to the public, and audience members will be asked to provide feedback to the playwright.
