BroadwayWorld has closely followed the story of Sonja Hansen, the director/choreographer of Ohio's Loveland High School's recent production of Legally Blonde: The Musical. Ms. Hansen was pressured into resigning after school officials claimed her production of Legally Blonde was inappropriate. Below is an open letter to Loveland High School's Principal, Christopher Kloesz.

Ohio's Loveland High School drama director Sonja Hansen has officially resigned after putting on a production of Legally Blonde, Cincinnati.com reports. After 'undisclosed complaints' were submitted about the adult themes and dialogue featured in Legally Blonde, as well as a prior production of the musical Grease, Hansen faced pressure to resign or be fired.

As reported by WLWT.com, drama teacher Sonja Hansen says she was asked to resign over a 'racy' production of Legally Blonde at Loveland High School in Loveland, Ohio. The musical was initially approved by the school's principal.
