Born and raised in South Pasadena, California, Rudy began acting in plays and musicals in High School. He received his BFA in Theater Arts from the University of California Santa Barbara. In his senior year he received a research grant to study puppetry and movement theater and he has been making puppets for theater ever since.
Upon moving back to Los Angeles, Rudy began working with renowned theater companies like South Coast Repertory and Independent Shakespeare Company. His performance in "Angel of the Desert" at SCR was called "sensitive and emotionally raw" by the OC Examiner and he won a Best Supporting Actor award for that role. He is also part of the Ovation Award Nominated cast of "Edith Can Shoot Things And Hit Them" produced by Artists At Play.
On TV, Rudy enjoyed being a recurring host on "Disney 365" a beloved interstitial program on The Disney Channel. He's had guest roles on The Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. Most recently he was cast as Marty, a medical intern, on NBC's "Heartbreaker."
When he's not acting, Rudy enjoys playing his ukulele, riding his skateboard and writing plays for the theater.
