The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey opens their exciting 2023 Season on the Main Stage with Tennessee Williams’ gem, The Rose Tattoo, and the production couldn’t be better.

The inaugural Alabama International Fringe Festival takes place May 12th-14th, 2023 in the River Region of Alabama. With live theatrical performances, pop-up performances, a film festival, live stories and even a digital fringe, the AIFF strives to provide a space to showcase unique theatrical experiences from anywhere in the world in the vibrant arts scene of the Alabama River Region.

Sweet Nell Productions & Outside In Theatre, in collaboration with Family Affairs Studio, will world premiere Justin Elizabeth Sayre’s Lottie Platchett Took a Hatchet at Assembly Festival as part of The Edinburgh Fringe Festival August 4th - 27th, with a preview in Los Angeles at Casita del Compo’s Cavern Club June 10th – 12th. Jessica Hanna directs the cast of Kirsten Vangsness as Lottie (June 10 & 11) Lauren Lopez as Lottie (June 12 & August 4 – 27) with Tom Lenk, Ryan W Garcia, Tom Detrinis and Justin Elizabeth Sayre. I had the opportunity to ask Tom Lenk a few queries about his many successful ventures, as well as his history with producer/director Tom Detrinis.

Guest judges for this season include Billy Porter, Taraji P. Henson, and Andy Cohen. The 16 competing designers will go head-to-head for the grand prize of $250,000.

Someone who is determined to provide a platform for virtual performances is Ryan Thornhill. In July his Thornhill Theatre Space announced their international TTS Virtual Fringe Festival which will run throughout August. One project to be included is 'Tolpuddle! The Musical', relating the story of the Tolpuddle Martyrs.

Bravo Media's “Project Runway” has tapped supermodel and entrepreneur Karlie Kloss as the host along with former “Project Runway” champion and celebrated CFDA fashion designer Christian Siriano as the mentor for the newly rebooted Emmy Award-winning franchise. Kloss will also serve as executive producer. In addition, ELLE Editor-in-Chief Nina Garcia returns to the series, joined by famed fashion designer Brandon Maxwell and journalist and former Teen Vogue Editor-in-Chief Elaine Welteroth as judges. The announcement was made today by Shari Levine, Executive Vice President, Current Production, Bravo. The series is currently in pre-production and will premiere in 2019.
