Jay James-Moody’s (adaptor, director, performer) adaptation of Burton Lane (Music) and Alan Jay Lerner’s (Book & Lyrics) ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER puts a queer lens and feminist undertone to absurd story of past lives and unusual talents.

As part of the 2023 Seymour Season, Squabbalogic and Seymour Centre will present On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, playing 17th March to 15th April at Seymour Centre. 

Seymour Centre has announced its 2023 season, a set of six spectacular plays brought to the stage by some of Australia’s most creative and daring independent theatre companies.

Alma Baya, the original sci fi absurdist drama performed live in August 2021 at the A.R.T./New York Theatres, is available on demand until February 15 2022. 

On A Clear Day You Can See Forever was written for Broadway and adapted into a 1970s film starring Barbra Streisand. This all-new take is adapted from Alan Jay Lerner’s original by Jay James-Moody (The Dismissal, Herringbone) who teams up with the legendary Kelley Abbey to co-direct this hilarious and heart-warming comedy of errors, exploring modern themes of sexuality, gender, and ethics in a fast-paced, joyous and musical delight featuring all-new arrangements of Lerner and Burton Lane’s wonderful songs. 

Seymour Centre has announced the first half of its 2022 season, featuring a world premiere, two Australian premieres, the premiere presentation of a revamped Broadway classic, and the triumphant return of a hit, sold-out show from its 2021 season.

Untitled Theater Company No. 61 will present the World Premiere of Alma Baya, a new science fiction drama written and directed by Edward Einhorn (The Marriage of Alice B. Toklas by Gertrude Stein at HERE, NY Times Critic’s Pick), at A.R.T./New York’s Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre (502 West 53rd Street at 10th Avenue), August 13-28.

Saturday June 19, at 7pm, live The Marriage of Alice B. Toklas by Gertrude Stein, written and directed by Edward Einhorn, will have a live Zoom production broadcast via YouTube on Saturday June 19. It will reunite the original New York cast: Jan Leslie Harding, Mia Katigbak, Grant Neale, and Alyssa Simon.

La MaMa has announced the 15th edition of the La MaMa Moves! Dance Festival, which will be presented for the first time in a virtual format. Curated and hosted by Nicky Paraiso, the festival will feature digital premieres by five artists who bring bold perspectives and approaches to their diverse movement practices.

Ellen Struve, respected Omaha playwright, has created an 'epic' play for the 14th annual Great Plains Theatre Conference. Her play called EPIC will take place in the Metropolitan Community College/ South Omaha Campus in ITC room 120 on May 29, 30, and 31 at 7:30 pm.

The professional Equity theatre presents the musical March 7 through 17 at the G&L Theatre on the Community School of Naples campus, 13275 Livingston Road in Naples.

This year three musicals featuring the theme "Hey, Look Us Over," will be presented in a concert/cabaret style.  The shows are presented script-in-hand, with minimal staging. No sets, no props (free from the usual trappings of a fully staged production). The ninth season includes: On A Clear Day You Can See Forever (Oct 19-20, 2018), Promises, Promises (Feb. 15-16, 2019), and Wildcat (April 12-13, 2019)
