South Florida Symphony Orchestra (SFSO), led by Sebrina María Alfonso, has announced its 25th anniversary 2022/23 season featuring five Masterworks concerts and Handel's glorious holiday masterpiece Messiah.

FINDING NEVERLAND is a beautiful story of the man responsible for writing the beloved PETER PAN many years ago. J.M. Barrie is searching for the next great play and he realizes it's time to write a play just for children. The show opened on Broadway to great praise and success. In recent years, FINDING NEVERLAND began a national tour that leads them to Austin, Texas from January 16-21, 2018 at Bass Concert Hall. Most recently, John Davidson (best known for hosting That's Incredible and Hollywood Squares ) took over the dual role of Barrie's producer as well as Captain Hook in this wonderful tour that continues its trek across the country. BWW caught up with Davidson recently to discuss his past roles, hosting opportunities as well as landing such a fun role in FINDING NEVERLAND.

Part LES MISERABLES, part Quills, part Australia's backyard, Marat/Sade is a raucous and real-life inspection into the lives of the politically disenfranchised, told through the inmates of what was in Peter Weiss' 1960s original the asylum of Charenton, but in Barry French's direction, could be any detention centre dotting the Asia Pacific. A madcap meta-musical repurposing historic cruelty for the new age, Marat/Sade is a fantastic experience for audiences to get up close and personal with.

Though most of us think of Gyllenhaal as the kid from the 1999 film OCTOBER SKY who grew up to receive an Oscar nomination for BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN and has of late sported a rockin' beard, many people may not know that he has also graced both the London and Broadway stages. For six days at the end of summer, the Boston area is about to get a lot funnier. From September 6-11, ImprovBoston hosts the third annual Boston Improv Festival which features improv, sketch, and stand-up comedians from all over the country and Canada.
