That’s just the recipe for a Yiddishe Taam that the Yiddishkayt Initiative will be serving up at its first annual International VIRTUAL YI Love Yiddishfest – Purim Edition, Feb 25-28.
Riverside Theatre Announces LEO: A GHOST STORY
Allen D. Cornell, Producing Artistic Director/CEO of Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, announces a new musical production by Riverside Theatricals, a division of Riverside Theatre. Focused on the creation of new musicals, Riverside Theatricals' first two productions have focused towards young audiences starring professional performers. Leo, A Ghost Story is the division's second production and plays Riverside Theatre October 20-28, 2017.
A CLASS ACT Opens at New World Stages Tonight
After enjoying its World Premiere engagement earlier this spring at the Playroom Theater, A Class Act, the inaugural and relevant new play by attorney and playwright Norman Shabel, will now hold court at New World Stages - Stage 5(340 West 50th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenues) for a summer run. Produced by Eric Krebs, performances will begin on Saturday, July 9 at 8pm and continue through Sunday, September 4.

Pushups for Charity Event Kicks Off With P90X Creator, Tony Horton, Today
LOS ANGELES, CA - Online registration is now open for the Boot Campaign's 4th annual Pushups for Charity series, kicking off on Armed Forces Day, May 16th. This year, the Boot Campaign is collaborating with Tony Horton, fitness guru and creator of P90X, to encourage Americans across the nation to join the movement and complete as many pushups as possible in 90 seconds. Pushups for Charity aims to raise both awareness of military challenges and funds for veterans, active duty service members and their families. Last year alone, Pushups for Charity participants helped the Boot Campaign provide over $500K in urgent financial assistance, $750k for housing assistance and $564K towards wellness and family initiatives to help our warriors have a more successful transition back into civilian life.
