STARRING BUFFALO has announced its return to in-person performances with this fall's production of RENT, the pop culture phenomenon about falling in love, finding your voice and living for today.

As in a lot of things, it matters who you know. And at Westinghouse Arts Academy Charter School - a tuition-free public arts school near Pittsburgh - teachers Lindsey Carothers and Jarrett Reiche know everybody. Reiche works for the legendary Binder Casting - which cast the original 1999 Broadway production of 'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.'

If you're serious about a career on the stage, you want to learn from the very best. And this summer, students in Pittsburgh will actually get this experience, as Westinghouse Arts Academy Charter School brings a panoply of Broadway stars to town for a four-week intensive Broadway Takeover course in dancing, singing and acting, culminating in a production of 'Into the Woods' for the public.

Starring Buffalo and MusicalFare Theater will team up to present 'eMulbOy5: a pre-teen saga of love, fandom and identity', an original 'solo-ish' show from visiting Broadway actress Emily Koch (Wicked, Waitress).

How to survive during a pandemic? Well that not only depends on your personal health, but your chosen occupation. Many a starving artist had trouble making ends meet pre-Covid, but post-Covid? Can we talk? Well, that's just what actress Lindsey Brett Carothers is doing in her one woman cabaret 'I'm Still Singing.' The on demand program is being co presented by STARRING BUFFALO and MUSICALFARE.

Cabaret patroness Madame Mathieu has selected Lindsey Brett Carothers (Bring it On, Wicked) and Devin Ilaw (Miss Saigon, Les Miserables) as guests of honor at the November edition of Bistro Awards Critics' Pick Madame's Soiree. The show is now in its fourth hit season at The Duplex. The Broadway duo will be joined on the program by a distinguished group of emerging artists from a variety of disciplines.
