The Imaginary Menagerie, the cabaret stage show, concludes its yearlong residency at The McKittrick Hotel with a grand cabaret on Wednesday, December 18th at 10:30PM in The McKittrick's clubroom, The Heath.

Adam Chanler-Berat (Peter and the Starcatcher, Next to Normal), Kerry Butler (Xanadu, Catch Me If You Can) and Alex Gemignani (Chicago, Assassins) will star in an upcoming staged reading of The Dogs of Pripyat today, September 10th and Wednesday, September 11th. The Dogs of Pripyat features music by Aron Accurso (Assoc. Conductor: Aladdin, Sister Act), lyrics by Jill Abramovitz (Cinderella), and book by Leah Napolin and Abramovitz.

New composer Trevor Bachman made his Joe's Pub debut on Monday, August 12 in Songs of a Brave Soldier- a musical chronicle of truth. Wielding music as a storytelling force, this evening of rock, soul, and classical styles is a sampling of two original musicals (Pyre Cantata and Coromandel), as well as brand new songs. Bachman is an indie music theatre composer/lyricist with an eclectic sound, fusing tight harmonies, soulful grooves and addictive melodies, creating an emotional theatrical experience. The Dixon Place Lounge is open before, during, and after the show. Proceeds directly support Dixon Place's artists and mission. Dixon Place is located at 161 Chrystie Street, tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door.

Composer, writer and performance artist Kate Douglas makes her debut at Joe's Pub on Friday, August 31st at 7:30 p.m. with an evening of original songs, poems and curiosities entitled Kate Douglas and the Imaginary Menagerie. Douglas, who can currently be seen in PUNCHDRUNK's Sleep No More, will perform her own original music and lyrics, supported by a sexy collection of singers, musicians and a deer named Lucy.
