Kanyok Arts Initiative celebrates its 6th Anniversary Gala with 'The Future is Now' event on April 7, featuring performances, cocktails, and fundraising for the future of NYC's arts scene.

​​​​​​​Kanyok Arts Initiative, an intimate New York City training program that bridges aspiring artists from the studio to the professional stage through a re-imagined multi-disciplinary curriculum, announces the KAI Gala, Sunday April 30 at 5:00pm with special guest of honor, Tony Award winning director-choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler.

Opening in September 2022, The School at MMAC is a new pilot training program for High School students to explore a multidisciplinary dance curriculum, as well as voice and acting, during the school day.

BC Beat, the bi-annual choreography showcase established to support, explore and experience innovative theatrical dance, announces a line up for Monday November 10th featuring eight choreographers with work performed by a company of 40 artists from Broadway's biggest hits. New York Stage and Film and Vassar College, this summer celebrating the 30th year of their Powerhouse Theater collaboration, are thrilled to reveal the first round of casting for the upcoming Powerhouse Theater Season, running from June 20 to July 27 at Vassar College (Poughkeepsie, New York).

The new Broadway musical and U.S. National Tour of COME FLY AWAY, conceived, choreographed, and directed by Tony Award-winner Twyla Tharp and featuring vocals by Frank Sinatra, made its Los Angeles debut at the Pantages Theatre Tuesday, October 25 for a strictly-limited 2 week engagement thru November 6, 2011. Michael Sterling, co-producer and Los Angeles correspondent for Broadway World TV, along with Associate Producer Jerry Evans of the JLE Media Group, Inc. covered the evening's festivities. The star-studded guest list included many of the late Sinatra's celebrity friends and family members. After attending the performance, Sterling said 'In short, the show is an intoxicating marriage of pure harmony and wedded bliss.'
