Kimiko Glenn

Kimiko Glenn Glenn began her acting career in 2008 while in her freshman year of college, when she was cast as Thea in the first U.S. national tour of Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik’s rock musical Spring Awakening.

In 2013, Glenn was cast as Litchfield Penitentiary inmate Brook Soso in the Netflix comedy-drama series Orange Is the New Black. She received Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2014, 2015 and 2016 as part of the series’ ensemble.

In 2014, Glenn appeared in the music video for “I Wanna Get Better,” directed by Lena Dunham for Bleachers, the solo project of Jack Antonoff. In 2016, she played Liv Kurosawa in the drama-thriller film Nerve. That same year, she joined the Broadway production of the musical Waitress as Dawn Pinkett. The production began previews at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on March 25, 2016, and officially opened on April 24, 2016.

In 2018, Glenn began starring as Harlow in the comedy web series Liza on Demand. In 2019, she appeared as a guest presenter with Nev Schulman on MTV’s Catfish.

Glenn provided the voice of Izzy Moonbow in the Netflix animated film My Little Pony: A New Generation in 2021. In 2023, she began voicing the title character, Kiff Chatterley, in the Disney Channel animated series Kiff. In 2024, she began voicing Niffty and Susan in Hazbin Hotel.

Glenn also began a music career under the stage name KIMIKO in 2025. She released her debut single, “Oh Honey,” on July 2, 2025. Her second single, “Hang Out Forever?,” was released on Nov. 14, 2025, accompanied by an official music video. A lyric video for the single was released on Nov. 21, 2025.
