Featuring stunning portraits by Michael Hull Photography and coordinated by Broadway for Arts Education, Broadway Plus, and the Museum of Broadway, these incredible Broadway performers and organizations teamed up with the Arts in Education Round Table’s “It Starts With The Arts” campaign to amplify their advocacy!

In support of bringing arts education to underprivileged children in NYC and around the world, over 30 of Broadway's finest performers are donating their time and talents to the Broadway's Babies 2019 Spring Fundraising Concert on Monday March 25 at (le) Poisson Rouge, NYC. Hosted by the incomparable Natalie Joy Johnson (Kinky Boots), and produced by co-founders, Kate Pfaffl (War Horse), and Ben Houghton, the evening celebrates diversity and community through song, dance and the profound stories of the children they serve.

According to the UK's Guardian, a stuntman from Broadway's SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK has filed a $6 million lawsuit over injuries he suffered on the production. Richard Kobak claims he sustained the injuries while filling in for another cast member in 2010.

While watching the super-charged, though slightly frustrating Tony-nominated alt-rock musical AMERICAN IDIOT--whose national touring company recently spent a brief week at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Orange County, CA--one can't help but feel genuinely entertained by the spectacle of it all, yet many (myself among them) may find themselves wondering: well, we know we're watching something awesome... but WTF is actually happening? More rock concert than your typical Broadway musical, AMERICAN IDIOT succeeds not as a complete musical stage play but rather as a visually-enhanced showcase for its rousing Green Day score and the staggeringly talented cast tasked to perform it.

Rarely am I this surprised by a show, especially one I've already heard. But last night I had to completely change my tune over Green Day's "American Idiot", currently playing at the Paramount Theatre. Filled with stunning performances, inventive staging and poetic songs the show went from one I was mildly curious about to breathtaking evening.

According to the Associated Press, a stuntman from Broadway's SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK is considering suing the production over injuries suffered in 2010-11. Richard Kobak (Joshua Kobak according to cast lists for the show), claims not only that he suffered knee injuries while filling in for another cast member in 2010, but that 'a computer program controlling one of his jumps from a balcony sent him flying into a wall on April 5, 2011.'
