Pivot Acquires Documentaries Focusin on Syrian Refugee Crisis


Today, Participant Media announced that Pivot has acquired television rights to air two documentaries focusing on the refugee crisis that has resulted from the civil war in Syria.

Block will discuss About Love, which considers for the first time more than 30 years of her intimate and moving portraits. Organized chronologically and published in an oversize format designed to evoke the idea of a family album, About Love is the first survey of Block's work. The book provides a thorough overview of her approach to portraiture.
