Kinesis Project dance theatre will present Capacity, or: the Work of Crackling at the Snug Harbor Dance Festival from September 23-24, 2023 at Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden.

La MaMa has added performances to the La MaMa Moves! Dance Festival. The final week of the festival will now run through Thursday, May 5, with upcoming performances by Compañía Cuerpo de Indias, John Scott Dance, and Valetango Company.

La MaMa has announced the lineup for the 17th edition of the La MaMa Moves! Dance Festival. Curated by Nicky Paraiso, the three-week festival will feature new works by nine dance artists/companies with bold and diverse approaches to performance.

Mixing traditional with cutting edge, rigorous with playful, and the familiar with the unexpected, Ferver's lineup showcases diverse artistic practices found within contemporary choreography, and reconsiders dance through his singular lens. Dance Under the Influence, running from September 18 through November 14, 2015,offers a platform for the presentation of bold contemporary works that defy simple categorization.

For the sixth installment of the Duct Tape and A Dream Festival, collaborative new works company Roots and Wings will showcase eight fresh premiers divided between two programs running in repertory May 15th-19th, 2013: A "Duct Tape" Program and a "Dream" Program. Both nightly programs are anchored by one longer piece and feature three shorter new works. The festival is truly eclectic including dance, clowning, devised theatre, a multi-media show, and new plays exploring a variety of subjects all written by emerging artists. The programs will play in rotation at the Bridge Theatre @ Shetler Studios, 244 West 54th Street, 12th Floor.

Producing Artistic Director, Jennifer Conley Darling announces today that terraNOVA Collective has appointed four new staff members and plans to heighten the visibility and opportunities for its Groundbreakers Playwrights Group, produce annual main stage productions, while continuing to build the successful soloNOVA Arts Festival.

Theatre C will present Kyoung H. Park's (Sex and Hunger; Heartbreak/India; EST's Youngblood) disOriented, February 16-March 5 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street). The production will be directed by Theatre C Artistic Director, Carlos Armesto (Binding; The Who's Tommy) and will feature Ariel Estrada* (Far East), Daniel K. Isaac* (Miss Electricity at La Jolla Playhouse; Balm In Gilead at Steppenwolf), Talynm Jinn Kim (LABrynth member, Developing Artists Theater Co.), Yanghee Lee, Julian Charles Leong (NY debut), Bert Matias (Snow Falling On Cedars), Amy Kim Waschke* (Somebody/Nobody at Arizona Theatre Company), and Virginia Wing* (Chu Chem). The creative team will include Costume Design by Carla Bellisio (Ghost Light; Southern Promises dir. Jose Zayas), Lighting Design by Jake DeGroot (Call Me Anne with Blue Coyote), Set Design by Adam Koch (Rooms: A Rock Romance; Title of Show), Sound Design by David Margolin Lawson (Kenneth Brannagh's Mary Shelley's Frankenstein; The Man Who Fell to Earth), and Choreography by Elisabetta Spuria (Tess: A New Rock Opera; The Who's Tommy).
