Gabriel joined the Broadway cast of Billy Elliot in the role of Michael when he was eleven. He made his feature film debut in Moonrise Kingdom (2012). Most recently, he appeared in the 1968-set horror film Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019). Other film credits include The Kitchen, Two Against Nature, A Little Game, No Letting Go, Little Boxes, and TV shows like Better Call Saul, Blue Bloods, SVU, Madame Secretary, and Gotham. Gabriel comes from a dance and theater background, and started tap dancing when he was 4 years old. Gabriel won the Young Entertainer Award in both 2017 and 2018.

Billy Elliot the Musical's Chicago opening night will take place April 11th. In addition, the producers, along with Broadway In Chicago, are excited to announce that $25 rush seats will be available for every performance.

To celebrate their arrival to New York City, the stars of the show and five live Dalmatians arrived in true NYC style aboard an FDNY fire truck lead by New York's bravest and also children from the Uniformed Firefighters Association Widows and Children's Fund, part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation. The New York Post recently took a look behind the scenes of the current tour of 101 DALMATIANS, specifically looking at the difficulties of having a cast of 15 dogs. According to the report, the dogs have received their own tour bus and enjoy more luxuries than many of the cast members.
