FOX AMERICA'S MOST WANTED Returns To FOX in March

One of television's most iconic series, AMERICA'S MOST WANTED, returns to FOX with an all-new season beginning in March, it was announced today by Rob Wade, President, Alternative Entertainment & Specials, FOX Entertainment.  Produced by FOX Alternative Entertainment and hosted by Emmy Award-winning journalist Elizabeth Vargas, AMERICA'S MOST WANTED will investigate some of the country's most dangerous fugitives.

ABC News' '20/20' Reports on Ankle Bracelet-Monitoring Failures and Murders Committed by People Ordered to Wear Them 5/25

This Friday, “20/20” will report on a nationwide investigation that found at least 50 murders allegedly committed since 2012 by people who at the time were under orders to wear electronically monitored ankle bracelets. In some cases, authorities failed to appropriately monitor people wearing ankle bracelets or to respond to alerts set off by the electronic devices. The program features interviews with Rafael Zaldivar, the father of a young man who was killed in Orange County, Florida, by someone wearing a device; and Bill Cregg, who was the first to arrive on the scene of a murder in Syracuse, New York, by a man who had removed his device. In both cases the devices triggered alerts before the murders were committed, but authorities took no action. “20/20” airs on Friday, May 25 (10:01–11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.

In the series premiere of A&E Investigates 'Cults and Extreme Belief,' A&E examines the timely topic of the 'self-help' group NXIVM which has been catapulted into the spotlight with the recent arrest of its leader and a high-profile actress/member on charges of sex-trafficking and other crimes. The group also stands accused of drawing supporters down a path of destruction that includes near-starvation diets, forced branding, pseudo-slavery, and blackmail. Former members share harrowing experiences of manipulation and sexual violation, including Sarah Edmondson who sits down with Vargas to share new details of her ordeal inside the organization including being branded with a symbol that turned out to be the leader's initials.
Award-Winning Journalist Gretchen Carlson Returns to Television with Overall Deal at A+E Networks

A instrumental force in the #MeToo Movement and one of Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2017, renowned journalist, author and female empowerment advocate Gretchen Carlson is returning to television, joining forces with A+E Networks to create and host a series of documentary specials. The documentary specials will be developed by A+E Originals(TM), the newly launched non-fiction content development company. The first of these specials, The Brave with Gretchen Carlson (working title) for Lifetime, will focus on how Gretchen's courageous actions to confront the scourge of sexual harassment in the workplace has served as a catalyst for so many other women to say #MeToo.
A+E Networks Inks Overall Production and First-Look Development Deal with Elizabeth Vargas

A+E Networks is partnering with award-winning journalist Elizabeth Vargas (20/20, ABC News) on an overall first-look development and production deal. The announcement was made today by Elaine Frontain Bryant, EVP & Head of Programming, A&E Network. The centerpiece of the agreement will make Vargas the face of the network's new nonfiction primetime journalistic banner A&E Investigates(TM). Utilizing Vargas' deep background in investigative reporting, the collection of premium nonfiction series and specials will take an unfiltered look at the often unseen stories of people and events in our society, that although relatively unknown, have a profound impact on our culture.
20/20' Features Interview with Denise Huskins and Aaron Quinn, Center Of So-Called 'Gone Girl' Kidnapping Case

ABC News' Amy Robach sits down with Denise Huskins and Aaron Quinn, who describe the anguish they felt after authorities at the time dismissed Denise's kidnapping as a hoax, causing the case to be known as the “Gone Girl” kidnapping after the fictional book and film. Denise recounts her nightmare, revealing new details about her harrowing hours in captivity and opens up about confronting her kidnapper, Matt Muller, in court. The couple discusses the damage the ordeal has had on their careers and personal lives and what the future holds now that the truth has been revealed. The interview comes weeks after Denise and Aaron reached a tentative settlement of $2.5 million with the city of Vallejo in their civil lawsuit for defamation and infliction of emotional distress. “20/20” airs on Saturday, April 14 (10:00 – 11:00 p.m. EDT) on ABC. 20/20 Reports on Woman Who Authorities Maintain Committed Suicide Even Though Her Family Believes She Was Killed by Deputy Sheriff Boyfriend

Suicide or homicide? That question still lingers for Michelle O'Connell's family and friends nearly eight years after she was shot inside her boyfriend's St. Augustine, Florida, home and died. Her family alleges she was killed by her boyfriend, Deputy Sheriff Jeremy Banks, but the sheriff's department maintains that she committed suicide. At the request of Michelle's family, her body was exhumed and an outside forensics expert conducted a second autopsy for them which concluded that Michelle's death was a homicide. However, authorities still maintain she took her own life. ABC News' Ryan Smith investigates the controversy and reports on developments in the case, including Jeremy's civil suit against a state investigator that was dismissed last month. “20/20” airs on Friday, April 13 (10:01–11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
20/20 Features Interview With Mother of John Giuca, Convicted of Murdering College Student on 4/6

When 19-year-old college student Mark Fisher was murdered in an alleged gang-crime, the public outcry was deafening. John Giuca and Antonio Russo were both convicted and sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for Mark's murder. In February, John's conviction was overturned by an appeals court which said the prosecutor made errors that could have impacted the jury's decision and two weeks ago Antonio confessed to detectives that he shot and killed Mark but did not implicate John. As John remains behind bars, awaiting an appeal by prosecutors of the recent ruling and a possible retrial, ABC News' Juju Chang sits down with Doreen Quinn Giuliano, John's mother, who has worked to try to prove her son's innocence for years. Doreen describes the lengths she went to, to help her son, including going undercover by changing her appearance and renting a basement apartment in order to seduce and expose a juror who she says should never have been on the jury. “20/20” airs on Friday, April 6 (10:01 – 11:00 p.m. EDT) on ABC.

Just last week, Leon was convicted and sentenced to life for two counts of solicitation of capital murder. “20/20” features footage from the trial and sentencing hearing, including Leon's testimony and impact statements from Leon's targeted ex-girlfriend and allegedly abused ex-wife. The hour also features an interview with Leon from jail, pre-trial, who tells correspondent Matt Gutman he did nothing wrong. “20/20” airs on today, March 30 (10:01–11:00 p.m. EDT). on ABC.

After a dinner out, the Whitaker family was ambushed upon returning to its Sugar Land, Texas, home in what authorities initially thought was a burglary gone wrong. All four members were shot - killing mother, Tricia, and younger son, Kevin, and wounding father, Kent, and elder son, Bart. The case took a twisted turn when Bart turned out to be the mastermind behind the murder-for-hire plot intended to kill his entire family and injure him as part of the cover-up. Bart has since been convicted of two counts of first-degree murder and sentenced to death.
