BIO
Demaree is currently touring the West Coast as Nessarose in the First National Tour of Wicked. Demaree made her Broadway debut at the age of eight as Young Cossette and Young Eponine in the Broadway production of Les Miserables. Credits include: (Mary Lennox) The Broadway National Tour of The Secret Garden (Cynthia Benson) The Broadway National Tour of Big. Demaree spent her senior year of high school singing back up for Christian Artist Gina. Demaree has made personal appearances in National Troops Rally's and The Little Nashville Opry. While in Nashville Demaree sang back up vocals for songwriters such as James Slater (Writer of Martina McBride's single "In my daughters eyes") Demaree graduated from Belmont University with a degree in Music Business.

LA's Next Great Stage Star Musical Theatre Competition Announces Auditions
Creator, Director and Executive Producer Michael Sterling, along with Co-Executive Producer Barbara Van Orden and Associate Producer Peter Welkin have announced that auditions for LA's Next Great Stage Star 2019 Presented by Princess Cruises will take place Saturday, April 20th and Saturday April 27th between 11am and 6 :00 pm in North Hollywood, CA at Madilyn Clark Studios. The critically acclaimed Broadway Musical Theatre competition will be presented as a series of six 1:00 pm Sunday matinees at the historic El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood's NoHo Arts District beginning May 26th and continuing through June 2nd, June 9th, June 16th, and June 23rd, ending with the Grand Finale on June 30th, thus marking the event's 13th consecutive anniversary year.

BWW Reviews: WICKED at the Paramount Still Wicked
Is it possible I've seen "Wicked", currently playing at the Paramount Theatre, too many times? It's not like I'm even into the double digits here having only seen it three times. But even with those three, has it lost its luster or have I become jaded. The dragon still roars, the monkeys still cavort and the green girl still flies into the rafters. So why was I not as wowed by this production as others? I'm going to have to say (at least in Act One) the energy just wasn't there. They picked it up in Act Two but in Act One there seemed to be a lot of motion going through.
